1)

1. I'm good at working in a group whether it is leading the group or being a part of one. I can also socialise well with people i don't know which can be helpful.  I am very good at managing my time and can complete work in a given time frame as well as balancing two jobs and college. I can think about problems logically and bring creative ideas as well.
2. Good team worker who can think about problems creatively to find good solutions and then present my ideas clearly to others. I am also capable when using parts of the Adobe creative cloud such as illustrator or photoshop. As well as adobe i can use Maya, Construct 2, Game Salad and unreal. I can edit video and animation or complete pre production tasks quickly such as storyboarding.
3. I have 7 GCSEs over C grades and got a C in A level computer science at AS. I am predicted to get D*D in a 120 credit media course. Outside of college I have played rugby and acquired multiple awards from my club and have a provisional driving licence which can be used.
4. I Have had a bit of experience working in retail so can deal with clients to gain business or work out what they need. I have worked at Halfords for 2 months as a sales assistant and have worked in a local pub for the past 5-6 months as a bartender. I have also worked as a paperboy for the local news company for 4 months. I have multiple interests, mainly in watching and storyboarding films and playing or developing video games. I have also played rugby for the past 11 years which has been a large hobby for me.

My strengths

I think i have multiple strengths that are helpful in the media industry as I believe i am very dedicated to the projects i complete and will complete them to a high quality standard. I am also good at being punctual and managing my time which i can show as i balance two jobs and college work well which is a large advantage. I am a strong team worker and can both lead and work as part of a group whilst putting forth creative ideas to solve problems or complete new challenges.

I have a moderate amount of experience using many programs within the Adobe Creative Cloud like Illustrator and Photoshop. I can also use Maya well to create detailed objects efficiently.

I would like to improve my experience of creating layouts and magazines using Indesign as I have enjoyed using the program before and feel it could be very useful if I pursue a career in publication. I currently feel like i don’t have enough knowledge about using the program yet. I also want to build experience in Illustrator as it would help me build designs and gain a more creative perspective on design. Without using software I would like to get more experience with storyboarding and creating pre production documents for films as storyboarding stories is very interesting to me and i feel like i could get a lot of experience from it.
